If you think similarly, your first instinct is to like Gay For Johnny Depp. Last year, I found their onslaught of guitar overpowering on first listen and pushed them to the corner of my library. To be specific, the track was "Pink Flag", and I was expecting some sort of prog-rock... man, was I surprised.

There's no guaranteeing you'll favour these guys. Actually, I feel more inclined to guarantee the opposite. Whatever Doesn't Kill You, Eventually Kills You caters toward a very specific genre. Future releases are unlikely to allow marginal listening either. We can presume GFJD have a very short attention span; no track on the album surpasses the three-minute-mark.

I've been hyped for this one since the release of their first two singles, "Georgia" and "Rubber". Brit-rockers Yuck have fabulous percussion and a lovable, funky pop punk sound. It's very Oasis-like. They're soon to embark on a North American tour with Tame Impala. Check out the new video for their third single, "Holing Out".
