What I found this weekend

We finally had our kitchen flooring finished, and all I can think is that I can't make a mess baking anymore. While out rug shopping yesterday afternoon, I happened to stumble across a brand new And We Are Bled Of Color at a warehouse store.

Stutterfly is the former name of Secret and Whisper under frontman Chris Stickney who called it quits in 2006. He is now working another project, while the rest of the band went on to release Great White Whale in 2008. No more copies of AWABOC were made.

I'm so excited to listen to it!

Despite its title, the Drop covers all genres, including EDM. It focussed primarily on the local Toronto scene until 2013, after which most of my written music coverage shifted to The B-Side, a publication friends and I founded at UC Berkeley. During that time, this page has held more poetry and personal musings, but as of 2017, I'm back to covering what I did best here -- new and unique sounds.
